Denial Means No Survival
Bubonic Plague Survival Kit
- Non-perishable Foods, which are around $5-6 dollars a can, so one can eat food that hasn't been contaminated and won't go bad.
- Water, which can be bought bottled in gallons for around $10, so one doesn't need to venture outside their house when the taps stop working.
- Water filter (a.k.a. Life Straw), which is about $20 and can be used on any water source, making the ability to drink clean water easy when everything's infected.
- Blankets, ranging from $5 to $20 depending on the quality, to keep warm when the heating goes out in one's home or when one if traveling to a safe spot.
- Matches, around $2.50 for five boxes, to use for cooking, building fires to keep warm, and burning dead bodies (IF YOU HAVE TO).
- Cell phone and charger, which almost everyone has anyway, but if one doesn't, it would cost $50 to $500 dollars and would be used for emergencies and making sure loved ones were alright,
- Portable Power Source (i.e. generator), which costs around $75 and would be used to charge important items.
- First Aid Kit, preferably one of the good ones, which cost about $150. It would be used for the obvious purpose of when one gets hurt or injured and to clean and stitch wounds.
- Masks, either a surgical mask, which costs about $12, or a gas mask which costs around $13. The masks would just be used so one wouldn't have to breath in the decay bodies.
- Rodent killer, which can go from $25 to $50, to kill of any of the rats or mice that might be infected since the disease is carried by a flea living in the rat's fur.
- Bug Spray, of which the cost ranges anywhere under $10, to keep off any other bugs and hopefully repel the fleas as well.
